Slaughters Commercial Services Corp has been providing commercial and emergency janitorial services and facilities management for the past 20 years.  I am a veteran and a Service-Connected Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Owner. I currently have over forty employees and there are five (5) veterans, three disabled veterans and one (1) disabled person on my staff. I have a Graduate Degree/Master Degree in Health and Sciences (MHS), I have over 20 years of commercial cleaning experience (1980 -1989 & 2012 – Present). My staff and I have attended six (6) weeks of commercial cleaning training and two (2) weeks of Floor treatment (stripping, buffering, and waxing) from Jan Pro that was completed in April 2013. All SCS staff attend semi-annual training yearly and supervisors/manager attends yearly eight (8) hours of training at Governors State University on communication, diversity, sensitivity and inclusion training. All staff can read and write English and have been vetted (have Flash Badges/PIV Badges. SCS currently have contracts at Hines VASCS currently have contracts at Hines VA – over 550,000 sq ft. SCS has had an 5 year contract for the Kankakee CBOC 10,000 sq ft) that involve COVID emergency janitorial services (level 1, 2 and 3 cleanings are performed).
